SOMETIMES. . .Tribute to a beautiful daughter

Sometimes you may be far away, but we’re never apart, are we?

Sometimes when I see your picture I still can’t believe you’re all grown up and on your own.  Sometimes I lie awake at night just thinking about the pleasure you are in my life.  Sometimes I wonder why our dear heavenly Father chose one such as me to be your mother.  Sometimes I know why, and then I feel a tear go down my cheek.

Sometimes I wonder how I’ll answer the questions you pose to me, and sometimes I just marvel at how God still uses me to point you to Him.

Sometimes I marvel at your beauty, and I notice that it is so much more than skin deep.  Sometimes looking at you reminds me of how time is slipping away so quickly, and sometimes loving you makes me feel eternity.

Sometimes I grin at how God uses you to bring change to me, and sometimes our special relationship makes me wish things never had to change at all.  Sometimes I relive the special moments of your childhood and dance with you again in the living room as we play together, then shake myself back to reality and sometimes wonder how we’ll feel when final goodbyes must come.

Sometimes the Lord and I laugh together at your antics and smile together knowing you are truly learning to experience the joy of being a Christian woman.  Sometimes He actually gives me a glimpse into your precious heart that follows hard after Him and reminds me that I had something to do with that.

WOMAN WITH DESTINY IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD

I Love You.
